Early Life and Beginnings

Born on October 11, 1993, in Surat, Gujarat, Hardik Pandya’s cricketing journey took root in Baroda. His father, Himanshu Pandya, worked as a loan agent in Vadodara, reflecting the modest background from which he emerged. Hardik’s pursuit of cricket led him to leave MK High School after the ninth grade to dedicate himself fully to the sport. His dedication and talent eventually led him to become a key figure in Indian cricket.

Family and Personal Life

Hardik Pandya is happily married to Natasa Stankovic, a Serbian dancer, model, and actress, known for her fame in the Bollywood movie “Satyagraha.” The couple welcomed their first child, Agastya Pandya, into the world.

Cricketing Career

Pandya embarked on his domestic cricket career with the Baroda cricket team in 2013. He made an immediate impact, playing a crucial role in helping Baroda win the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy during the 2013–14 season. His all-round abilities, including his impressive performance with both bat and ball, quickly gained recognition. Mumbai Indians recognized his potential, and they acquired him for the 2015 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

His Test debut took place in July 2017 when he played against Sri Lanka in Galle. During the third and final Test match against Sri Lanka at Pallekele, he marked the occasion with his maiden Test century. Up to this point, he has participated in 11 Test matches, boasting a batting average of 31.29 and a bowling average of 31.05.
